The Brief

The Guild of Charlotte Artists previously managed memberships and art submissions manually, leading to significant administrative strain and inefficiencies. Membership renewals, recurring payments, and art show entries were handled by hand, making it difficult to maintain accuracy and consistency. Our goal was to design a digital membership system with built-in payment processing and gated access, simplifying the experience for both staff and members.
Streamlining Memberships with Digital Access
We developed a fully digital membership system that automated annual renewals and integrated recurring payments. To enhance value for members, we created a gated paywall, giving paying members access to exclusive content and artwork submission pages. This new infrastructure not only saved staff time but also improved the member experience with an intuitive, modern workflow.
Empowering Artists with Simple Submissions
Our solution gave Guild members a straightforward way to submit artwork for shows directly through the website. By integrating forms, file uploads, and automated confirmations, the system ensured smoother coordination for exhibitions and reduced manual tracking. The result was a more professional, organized process that positioned the Guild as a forward-thinking arts organization.

Project Summary

The Guild of Charlotte Artists now operates with a streamlined digital backbone that saves staff hours of manual work while enhancing the membership experience. From automated payments to simplified artwork submissions, the system has set a new standard for efficiency and engagement, allowing the Guild to focus on what matters most—supporting local artists.
