The Brief

BWI sought a fresh design approach for “Heroes & Innovators,” an annual celebration of their community and supporters. The event required branding that captured the hero-inspired theme, with a spring-season feel. Our goal was to create a versatile yet impactful identity for the event across all materials.
Building a Unified Identity
We crafted a punchy red color palette with subtle pastel undertones to suit the spring theme. The comic-like starburst pattern in our designs subtly nodded to the “hero” concept, creating a fun, engaging feel. Additionally, we developed a distinctive logo that was simple, strong, and flexible across digital, print, and event signage, enhancing brand recognition throughout the event.
Full-Spectrum Event Design
Our team provided end-to-end design support, creating a suite of materials including save-the-date cards, website elements, email templates, social media graphics, and event materials (PowerPoint with a giving QR code, programs, signage, and a sponsorship packet). Each piece worked together to establish a consistent, memorable event experience.

Project Summary

The “Heroes & Innovators” event was a success, with a cohesive, spring-themed design that celebrated BWI’s mission and inspired generosity among attendees. The tailored branding allowed the event to stand out, strengthening BWI’s relationship with its supporters.
